New requirements for Robben Island visitors

Robben Island has implemented new requirements for those wishing to visit the island.

Clients must now provide relevant identification when purchasing a ticket and ensure that they have their ticket and identification in hand at all times, to be checked before and after boarding the ferry. It could be a passport, identity document, birth certificate or driver’s license, according to the Southern Africa Tourism Service Association (Satsa).

If you would like the freedom to do what you want, when you want to, you might want to consider car hire Cape Town for your transportation needs.
