In video: Cederberg Wilderness Area

The beautiful Cederberg, a wilderness area dominated by a craggy mountain range and a nature reserve stretches from the Middelberg Pass at Citrusdal, just north of the Pakhuis Pass at Clanwilliam – over 70 000 hectares of spectacular. Rugged terrain – lies roughly two to three hours drive, depending on how leisurely the pace, from Cape Town.

If you are looking to go on a adventure in the area, you might want to look into having some wheels to get around. Car hire Cape Town would be the best place to start looking.

Walking trails criss-cross the landscape, leading nature lovers to ravines where spill into cool streams and rock pools beckon hike-weary bodies. The Cederberg is also attractive to rock climbers, mountain bikers and quad bike enthusiasts.

If you plan on going on a adventure to this majestic location from another part of the country, you might want to use a vehicle to get there. Car rental South Africa would be a great place to start looking for the best wheels to get you there.
