De Pakhuys is situated in the picturesque Agter-Pakhuis Valley, twenty-six kilometres from Clanwilliam using the Wuperthal village route. The area is surrounded by the majestic Cederberg mountains and is ideal for a variety of activities.

You can take a spectacular drive to the top side of the farm using a 4x4 vehicle. The top section of the farm comprises of 260 hectares of undamaged fynbos gorges and 60 hectares of rooibos tea lands.

Olienhout trees can be found squeezed between the rocks. You can take a stroll around the farm by taking the Die Plaat Hiking Trail, Waterfall Trail, Kloof walking trail or the Heuningvlei Trail. In addition, De Pakhuys is the ideal place for bird watchers to spot the Witkruis Arend.

Driehoek Guest Farm

Driehoek Guest Farm is situated at the core of the Cederberg mountains. It is surrounded by magnificent mountains and is the ideal nature resort for taking your family.

Driehoek is a great base for hiking to famous landmarks, for instance, Sneuburg, Tafelberg, The Maltese Cross, Welbedaght and Panorama Caves, as well as the Wolfberg Arch and Wolfberg cracks.

There are many activities to do around Driehoek. You can take short walks around the farm area which has many natural pools, an old stone leopard cage, a beautiful waterfall, bird watch points and bushman paintings. In addition, there are endless roads and tracks ideal for mountain bikers.

Cederberg Sanddrif

Sanddrif is situated about 250 km north of Cape Town on the banks of the serene Dwars river. Sanddrif lies at the core of Cederberg Wilderness, an area well known for its rock art, fynbos, magnificent rock formations and expansive vistas.

The farm has a little bit for everyone and you are guaranteed to never get bored. Activities available include rock climbing, mountain climbing, day hikes, trail running, stargazing, bird watching as well as swimming in the serene Matjies river.

You can also choose to explore the fynbos-rich area, view the spectacular San rock art, explore the ancient valley of the Red Gods or relax in the beautiful Maalgat pools. To get there you’ll need a reliable vehicle, you’ll be glad to know that car hire South Africa is cheap and easy.

Nuwerust Rest Camp

Nuwerust Rest Camp is located at the Breekrans river valley and is surrounded by the magnificent Cederberg mountains. This place is outstanding and offers outdoor and nature lovers an unforgettable experience.

The amazing twelve-kilometer Rooiberg trail will take you all the way to cloud country and the six-kilometer waterfall trail embraces the rugged river course. In addition, the two- kilometre Rondekoppie trail offers an amazing and gentle stroll.

At the summit of Rooiberg, there are spectacular San rock paintings on the Dassieklippe section. Nuwerust also hosts a section of the Ride The Rock MTB race and has 2 purpose built single-track loops that run through the farm.

Rondeberg

Rondeberg is situated on the banks of the Bulshoek Dam. The set up comprises of self-catering options as well as a caravan and compact camping site. Bulshoek dam is ideal for boating, skiing, fishing canoeing and much more.

If you are the adventurous type, you can take the 7-kilometre hiking trail or drive to lambert's bay to witness the West Coast culture and a dose of delectable crayfish. In addition, Rondeberg has beautiful flora and fauna and is ideal for bird watching.
