To honour the king of rock ’n roll a special program has been designed. It features a variety of performances and contests including the Elvis Tribute Artists, a Miss Marilyn Pageant and Garden Route’s Got Talent – The ELVIS Way Competition.

The South African Elvis Fan Club also hosts fun activities, interesting topics and trivia games such as a Teddy Bear Hunt, a memorabilia shop, a Cadillac Shack and Elvis movies help to indulge in the era of good music, American cars and crazy dancing.

However, the Elvis Festival is much more than a look-alike contest. The event’s organisation is dedicated to improving the living conditions of the villagers by making this event grow to the biggest Elvis Festival outside the USA. As Tsitsikamma gains recognition and therefore popularity, this will, in turn, help the community to develop. Furthermore, 25% of the festival profits are reinvested in the community to built a sustainable and healthy environment for the inhabitants of the village.
