Garden Route Golf Holiday Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive George
On arrival at George Airport you'll be met by a travel representative and assisted to your Drive South Africa hire car. If you've chosen the Fancourt Hotel you'll be able to enjoy an afternoon of golf on the Fancourt Links Golf Course, one of the top courses in the country, home to the President's Cup in 2003 and the Women's World Cup in 2005. For golfers staying at Protea Hotel King George, which overlooks the 11th fairway of the George Golf Course, you'll be able to enjoy a round of golf on this famous course.

Day 2: Fancourt Country Club 

Start the morning off with a round of golf at the Gary Player designed Fancourt Country Club (Bramble Hill), set in beautiful surroundings this course is a challenging test for golfers. Spend the afternoon visiting Oudtshoorn the ‘feather capital’ of the world with its large ostrich industry, and the underground labyrinth, the Cango Caves.

Day 3: Knysna
Leaving George, travel along a section of the world famous drive, the Garden Route, on your way to the town of Knysna. Take a ferry ride across the estuary to the Featherbed Nature Reserve (own account), where you can view the impressive Knysna Heads: two majestic rock cliffs at the entrance to the lagoon.

Day 4: Pezula Country Club (ex Sparrebosch)
On Day 4, make your way to the Pezula Country Club and enjoy a round of golf. This award winning course was designed by Ronald Fream and David Dale of Golfplan, California. Set against dramatic scenery this course is as inspiring as it is immaculate.
 
Day 5: Depart George 

Check out and travel to George Airport where you drop off your hired car and board your onward flight.
