You won’t need a PDP for hiring the 10 seater Toyota Quantum. A code 8 is perfect. If you were hiring the 14 seater Toyota Quantum, then you would need to get a PDP.

We have 10 seater Quantums, but there is nu luggage space in this vehicle. We also have a 14 seater Quantum, but with this vehicle you must have a PDrP Permit to drive this vehicle (You can Google this on the Internet).
The best option I would suggest is the 10 seater with a trailer for the luggage. The 14 seaters have special speed constrictions etc. when driving this vehicle.Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further enquiries.

We will go to RSA in November. We will need a vehicle that accomodates 8 adults with plenty of luggage (1 bag + 1 golf bag + smaller items per person) one way from CPT to PLZ. Will the Quantum be large and comfortable enough? Can you send me a quote for 14 to 17 days with insurance and appr. 2,000 kms free?

We’re doing a PAT on tourism at school, and we have to organise a 5-day tour in limpopo. I’m taking 10 people on the tour. I’m using the Quantum, but I have to say what the price per day, price per km, contractcost, CDW, TLW, PIA (with not knowing what the last three items are!) Help?!?!?!?!?

You do need a code 10 and a PDP drivers license in order to drive the Toyota Quantum 14 seater vehicle.
However we can offer you a 8 or 10 seater and you don’t need a PDP drivers license or the code 10 license to drive on of these.

The 14 seater vans we offer require a code 10 license and in some cases a PDP (public driving permit) and come with daily kilometre restrictions, alternatively we could provide you with 2 vehicles (Nissan Lavinas) which would accommodate your party and come in at a cheaper rental cost.
