The Hermanus Whale Festival 2012, Western Cape

From the 28 September to 1 October the Hermanus Whale Festival 2012 is your chance to see some of the world’s most amazing creatures in a festival dedicated to their existence. While driving around in the Western Cape at the end of September, you will have the opportunity to view whales in their natural habitat. This is an unforgettable experience, especially as their numbers dwindle.

The Checkers Food Marquee will also be housed in a 60 m by 40 m venue and will offer visitors everything from casual, to gourmet dishes and a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s easy to get to the festival from Cape Town. All you need to do is take the N2; you will be choosing the ramp that’s labeled Somerset West. From the Cape Town, International Airport follow the N2 to Settlers Way.
