Recently launched by Drive South Africa, #braaimap is an interactive map with the best outdoor braai spots in South Africa in celebration of #HeritageDay / #BraaiDay.
To discover Mzansi’s magical braai spots, simply click on one of the 80+ pins featured on the map across South Africa’s nine beautiful provinces. Each pin provides handy information about the braai spots such as:

• Location and directions
• A short description of the destination
• Opening and closing times
• Entrance fees
• Contact details

Once the competition concludes, you are going to want to visit some of these locations. Car hire might be the answer to your transportation needs.

Our goal, with the help of South Africa’s braai enthusiasts, is to ensure that every single incredible outdoor braai spot in the country is featured on the map.

If you can’t find your favourite outdoor braai spot on the map, submit your own suggestions via the web page. Every submission stands a chance to win a Weber braai.

General Rules of the Competition
a.      The competition is open to everyone to enter
b.      Employees of Drive South Africa.co.za may not enter this competition.
c.      All participants enter at own risk. Drive South Africa.co.za may not be held liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person’s negligence, including gross negligence) in connection with this competition, entering the competition or accepting or using the prize.
d.      By entering this promotional competition, participants accept and acknowledge that all entries may and will be used by Drive South Africa.co.za for promotional purposes.
e.      Closing date: Competition will run until we have 300 braai spots around the country listed on the #braaimap.
